Outing Club For Kids
Winter/Spring/Summer 2009
MOLA has some great outings and a variety of activities planned from late winter all the way through spring and into summer!
As always, we provide opportunities for youth to get outside, challenge themselves, make new friends, and have fun. Many of our outings are scheduled for days when kids don’t have to be in school, but parents have to be at work. Contact us for more information or to reserve a spot.
March 13 (Fri.) Skiing @ Lookout Pass $35 A full day in legendary Lookout powder snow! Kid-friendly and a variety of terrain for beginners to advanced. Price includes leaders, transportation, lift ticket, and lesson. Meet 8am; Return 6pm
March 29- April 4 Spring Break in Moab, UT $295 One of our premiere trips, and an amazingly fun time! We will spend a week in the famous redrock country around Moab hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, exploring, and camping. Price includes transportation, guides, group gear, and food. Meet Sunday 6pm; Return Saturday 8am. Middle-School & High-School.
April 18 (Sat.) Earth Day Volunteer Project FREE! Help us give a little something back to Mother Nature in general, and Pattee Canyon in particular, in celebration of Earth Day. We’ll be hiking, playing games, and helping clean up the place. Parents are welcome to join us. Meet 9am; Return 4pm..
May 16 (Sat.) Rock Climbing $25 Get out and enjoy spring while practicing some skills for summer. We’ll set up several routes to practice climbing and belaying. End the day with a scramble to the top! Meet 9am; return 5pm.
May 30 (Sat.) Rafting $25 We’ll seek out some bigger spring waves and run the Blackfoot River from Roundup down to Johnsrud. Meet 9am; Return 5pm. Kids and Parents!
June 8 – August 28 SUMMER CAMP! $145/week Hike, Bike, Climb, Raft, Canoe, Swim, Camp, Explore….All these activities every week! Ages 7-15. Please see our summer camp page for details.
July 20-24 West Coast Adventure Travel Trip $295 We’ll be traveling with a group of young adults to the West Coast and Olympic Peninsula for a week of outdoor adventure, including sea-kayaking. Middle-school & High-school. Please see our summer camp page for details.
