Outing Club For Kids
Spring 2007
MOLA has lots of great outings and a variety of activities planned from late winter all the way through spring!
As always, we provide opportunities for youth to get outside, challenge themselves, make new friends, and have fun. Many of our outings are scheduled for days when kids don’t have to be in school, but parents have to be at work. Contact us for more information or to reserve a spot.
March 8 (Thu.) Skiing @ Discovery $35 A full day in the fabulous Flint Creek Range. Kid-friendly and a variety of terrain for beginners to advanced. Price includes leaders, transportation, lift ticket, and lesson. Meet 7:30am; Return 6:00pm.
March 9 (Fri.) Skiing @ Lookout Pass $35 A full day in legendary Lookout powder snow! Kid-friendly and a variety of terrain for beginners to advanced. Price includes leaders, transportation, lift ticket, and lesson. Meet 7:30am; Return 6:00pm.
March 25-31 Spring Break in Moab, UT $275 One of our premiere trips, and an amazingly fun time! We will spend a week in the famous redrock country around Moab hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, exploring, and camping. Price includes transportation, guides, group gear, and food. Meet Sunday 6:00pm; Return Saturday 10:00am. Middle-School & High-School.
Apr. 21 (Sat.) Earth Day Volunteer Project FREE! Help us give a little something back to Mother Nature in general, and Pattee Canyon in particular, in celebration of Earth Day. We’ll be hiking, folfing, playing games, and helping clean up the place. Parents are welcome to join us. Meet 9am; Return 4pm.
May 12 (Sat.) Rock Climbing $25 Get out and enjoy spring while practicing some skills for summer. We’ll set up several routes at Elk Rock near Lolo Pass to practice climbing and belaying. End the day with a scramble to the top! Meet 9am; return 5pm.
June 3 (Sat.) Rafting $25 We’ll seek out some bigger spring waves and run the Blackfoot River from Roundup down to Johnsrud. Meet 9am; Return 5pm. Kids and Parents!
